A Change Of Perspective

What do you do when the world is turned upside down and your plans don’t seem to make sense anymore? Well, if you’re like me, you pivot and try to figure out a new game plan.
When I bought and moved into my home late last year, the ideas were flowing on how I could best update and improve this little century house of ours. Functional additions like a dishwasher were top priorities but so was retaining all of the beautiful architectural details. These were the things I was, and still am, excited about. I was looking to challenge myself to work within a budget and to tackle what I could myself.
Up until last month, I didn’t really have the time to put plan to paper or get me hands dirty with any of the projects but now with many of my projects on hold, I have no excuses!
I started looking at updating and planning my bathroom but have had to put a hard stop to that…too many elements where I really need skilled help. Plumbing is not my forte.
I’ve switched my focus to what I can bite my teeth into. Projects that challenge me but that I am still able to accomplish with basic tools and a bit of grit. I will post our progress here, the good, the bad and the ridiculous!
